I purchased this necklace as a birthday gift for my mother, and now I want my own!! The color differences are subtle enough not to be visible from a distance but significant enough that a closer look quickly reveals the variety. The graduated sizes seemed more pronounced than in the photo, but it just adds to the beauty.

I purchased this necklace earlier this month as a Gold Box Deal and it was well worth that naughty minute at work. The pearls are lovely and perfectly graduated. The colors are perfect for a casual-nice look and are perfect for work.

The only con is the length of the strand and it is a personal bugaboo for me. At 18" it just fits my neck, which is what it is supposed to do. I would prefer a 19" string but recognize I will need to special order with a jeweler.

I was amused by the packing of the pearls--I suspect that most of Amazon's jeweler is packaged this way: in a plastic ziplock bag, placed in a "nice" little velveteen bag, placed in a gift box with a "cotton" pad. I first thought that this was overkill but now realize that it is possibly the only way to keep the pearls, and other jewelery, from damaging itself during transit.

I agree with the previous reviewer who said this necklace seemed a bit short for an 18" necklace. It would be perfect for someone with a thin neck, but on me it's just a bit short.

On the other hand, it's beautiful and I really like it. I'll probably give it to my (much, much thinner) daughter-in-law and get the pleasure of seeing her wear it.

I would recommend getting this necklace, but keep in mind it's pretty short. I knocked off a star because the length just didn't seem to be as advertised, otherwise it would be a 5-star item.

Purchased these pearls as a bday gift for an 18 y/o. The gift presentation ~ nice blue box with the blue velvet bag resting atop the box cushion ~ Perfect. I am extremely pleased with the appearance (high lustre, nice pastel colors) quality (graduates nicely, tightly strung) and packaging.
Price was great. Would purchase again if I need another gift (I am a white or black pearl wearer, no pastels for me)
